On May 25, 2023, Eighth Army was invited to Daegu, South Korea by the Republic of Korea Army's 2nd Operations Command to their 1st Dronebot Battle Contest and exhibition where the latest unmanned vehicles and drones were put on display. Along with the hardware, ROK Army Soldiers dazzled the visitors with taekwondo demonstrations and music from the 2OC band. It was quite the display of coolness.
