Multi-national service members provide simulated care and medically evacuate role players with simulated injuries, during SABER GUARDIAN 23 Hospital Exercise, at Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base, June 6, 2023. Simulated casualties were medically evacuated from Romania to Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. HOSPEX 23 is a joint, multinational hospital-exercise that tests readiness of U.S. Air Force and Army capabilities during large scale combat operations, and enhances airborne interoperability with U.S. allies and partners in a contested environment.
