U.S. Armed Forces and local reenactors jump from military aircraft at Drop Zone O near Sainte Mere Eglise, France, June 4, 2023. Nearly eight decades later, the bravery and heroism by all Allies during World War II continues to resonate with the American people and locals. Aircraft participating in the event included seven U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules cargo aircraft, Royal Netherlands air force C-130H Hercules cargo aircraft and a German air force A400M Atlas transport aircraft.
