U.S. Military Members from U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, U.S. Army Garrison Italy, Aviano Air Base, Camp Darby Military Community and Military Veterans honored their comrades who lost their life for our freedom, at Florence Memorial Cemetery, May 29, 2023. Consul General of the United States in Florence, Ragini Gupta read the Presidential Proclamation to open the commemoration ceremony. Guests of honor were the Embassy of the United States of America to Italy and San Marino Shawn Crowley, Commander, Sixth Fleet; Commander, Task Force Six; Commander, Striking and Support Forces NATO/Deputy Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe; Deputy Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Africa; Joint Force Maritime Component Commander Europe Vice Admiral Thomas E.
