U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 153 and U.S. soldiers with 11th Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade participate in a memorial service at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, May 23, 2023. Paratroopers conducted a spartan jump during a memorial service to honor 77 paratroopers who have fallen throughout various wars. U.S. Marines with VMGR-153 supported the jump during exercise Kodiak Mace, which is designed to increase combat readiness and sharpen tactical skills during joint training in Alaska’s unique environment.
