U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 165th Airlift Wing and Marines assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, exit a C-130 Hercules during exercise AGILE X, a special focused joint training event at North Auxiliary Airfield-Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. During the exercise, Airmen and Marines collaborated on agile combat employment tactics and multi-capable airmen skills to create precision and cohesion between the military branches in preparation for AIR DEFENDER 2023 (AD 23). Exercise AD23 will be conducted as a multinational high-value exercise during the core exercise period June 12-23, 2023. Led by the German Air Force, air defense operations with a broad range of capabilities will be exercised with the participation of numerous North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) air forces.
