Two U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt IIs prepare to take off prior to conducting a mission with a partner nation at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. The deployment of A-10s in the region provides additional capability in the Middle East alongside fighter aircraft. This deployment ensures close air support specialists are able to build upon their skills in environments outside of the United States and ensure combat operations remain sharp across the force.
