Stacy Moore, sustainment senior trainer, talks about recent Armored Brigade Combat Teams (ABCT) Operational Readiness Rates (ORR) trends, and provides best practices for home station and while at the NTC to ensure that your unit is ready to fight. It does not matter how tactically proficient you are, if you have no combat power to bring to the fight. She suggests putting in place systems that allow equipment to endure the rigors of large scale combat operations. It all hinges on accurate and honest equipment status reporting.
