As part of North American Aerospace Defense COmmand's (NORAD) Exercise Vigilant Shield, NORAD F-15s take-off from the Fresno Air NAtional Guard Base in support of the exercise, on April 12, 2023. The Continental U.S. NORAD Region coordinated the launch of the NORAD aircraft from Calif. Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing to exercise maneuver operations designed to ensure the defense and security of North America.
