U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 167 fire ordnance over Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, Jan. 23, 2023. HMLA-167 trained during a unit-level deployment for training. The purpose of the training was to increase the squadron’s proficiency in expeditionary close-air support, shore-based operations, and defensive-air maneuvering.
