In conjunction with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, the Omaha District executed a time-critical dune restoration project at the Shoalwater Bay Tribe Reservation located in Pacific County, Washington. Recent storms had eroded the northern section of the protective barrier dune which caused safety concerns for the Shoalwater Bay Tribe and flooding risk to millions of dollars of infrastructure in the area.
