Emilie Jankowski, a representative of Team Osan Spouses’ Club: “Operation Sweet Treat is a community-wide effort sponsored by Team Osan Spouses’ Club.
Our goal is to get a pack of cookies to every unaccompanied Airman, E-5 and below, anywhere on the peninsula that is in support of Osan Air Base.
We are in contact with (first sergeants) down at Kunsan, Gimhae, Suwon, Daegu - basically anyone with ties to Osan we hope to support this Christmas.
The majority of people stationed in Korea are without their families during Christmas and while that can be a challenge any time of year, it’s especially on our minds around the holidays.
Whatever we can do to support them and give them a little bit of love and just let them know that they’re valued, appreciated, and that we’re very grateful for their service here.”
