The modernized "Spartan Brigade", 2nd Armored Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, and Soldiers assigned to the "Lighthorse Squadron," 3rd Squadron 17th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, executed a fire control exercise at Fort Stewart, Georgia, Nov. 18-19, 2022. The brigade multi-echelon, collective training event synchronized and integrated fires between close combat aviation, field artillery and mortars to mass effects for maneuver forces.
