III Armored Corps and 1st Cavalry Division Leaders and Soldiers celebrated Thanksgiving at the IRONHORSE Dining Facility with Mrs. Elizabeth Montgomery, a 101-year-old WWII Veteran with the Women's Auxiliary Corps who served from May 15th, 1942, thru July 1, 1943, initially as a signal officer and later transferred to personal affairs in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Montgomery, who has not been on an Army installation since 1946, travelled to Fort Hood from Marble Falls, Texas, to celebrate the holiday with Soldiers.
