U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. George Kiernan, a financial management officer with I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, explains how basketball influenced his life up until this point. Part of his journey was the ability to participate in the 2022 Armed Forces Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship at Naval Base San Diego, California, Nov. 7-12, 2022.
