On Sept. 15 and 16, 2022, members of Space Base Delta 3 and Space Systems Command participated in the Los Angeles Air Force Base's annual 24-hour Prisoners of War and Missing in Action Torch Relay. In honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day, participants covered 54 miles across Los Angeles County with a start location of Terminal Island and an end location of El Segundo, Calif.
