The history of the newly formed SFAB Brown Beret began when Gen. Mark Milley selected a beret in the style of the Royal Anglian Regiment and further linked the beret to the color of mud, symbolic of the tactical training Advisors do, shoulder-to-shoulder with allies and partners.
