The U.S. Army Medical Research & Development Command hosted 2022 capability days which showcases the command efforts to develop solutions to combat the unique medical threats the soldiers face. Some of these threats include extreme temperatures and terrain, lack of caloric intake and sleep, viruses and combat-related injuries.
As the DOD leader in military medical research, MRDC capabilities and solutions are researched, developed and fielded to protect out warriors in every conceivable circumstances from the moment they enlist through training, deployment, injury and rehabilitation
Visitors were guided through live product demonstrations featuring shelters, accessions and pre-deployment, point of injury and evacuation points.
U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory finished things off with live MEDVAC patient to next level of care. April 25th, 2022
