A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contractor installs a temporary blue roof on a home in Sarasota, Florida, Oct. 25. The roof of the home was damaged during Hurricane Ian on Sept. 28. In addition to Operation Blue Roof, USACE is actively supporting FEMA and the state of Florida Hurricane Ian recovery efforts in other areas to infrastructure assessments, temporary housing and debris technical assistance.
