The Defense Innovation Board is holding its inaugural public meeting under new chairman Mike Bloomberg. The DIB provides the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, and other senior leaders with independent advice on catalyzing innovation across the Department. This diverse and distinguished group of experts will provide advice on ways the Department can build enduring advantages to ensure we modernize and strengthen our military so it is equipped for strategic competition.
