NORFOLK (Oct. 9, 2022) - USS Porter (DDG 78) completes her homeport shift from Naval Station Rota Spain to Naval Station Norfolk, Oct. 9. Porter returned to Naval Station Norfolk after completing seven years of service and 11 patrols at Naval Station Rota, Spain as a Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe (FDNF-E) destroyer.
