U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 36th Contingency Response Group compete in a logistics rodeo during an Operational Readiness Exercise at Northwest Field, Guam, Sept. 14, 2022. The rodeo involved two teams being timed as they downloaded and reuploaded palletized cargo while receiving grades for the placement of the cargo and penalties for safety infractions. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Karrie Schneider, 36th Contingency Response Squadron aerial port journeyman, and the 36th Logistics Readiness Squadron developed the exercise to test airfield operations and port capabilities to get the required training to maintain proficiency for expeditionary airfield operations. This ORE is intended for Airmen to practice and enhance the skills needed to conduct various base functions in a high-risk environment. (U.S. Air Force video by Airman 1st Class Lauren Clevenger)
