"I am not supporting any specific group or asking for donations. A conversation with a close friend is what saved my life, not a t-shirt company, not TRICARE or an organization that requests donations. A friend who through a casual conversation identified an issue that was concerning, went into action and helped me get the help I needed. The difference between him and anyone else is education and knowing how to handle specific situations such as mine."
During Suicide Prevention Month, Sgt. 1st Class Mark Good, a human resources specialist with the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, is doing 100 kettlebell swings a day and using experience with physical fitness to spread suicide awareness and prevention.
