Maj. Ian Gindes, Illinois National Guard Army G-1 Branch Chief Officer, is a concert pianist in his civilian life. He has been a musician for over thirty years and is currently working on his second album. Gindes has used his music career to honor Soldiers and Airmen since his first tribute concert in 2004 shortly before leaving for basic training and his advanced individual training. Gindes encourages other creatives in the military to pursue their craft.
