Sgt. 1st Class Kole Gemmill, a tanker assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, presents his idea for XVII Airborne Corps' Dragon's Lair 7 competition. Dragon's Lair is a competition that gives Soldiers an opportunity to present innovative ideas to advance systems in the Army. Gemmill has developed a device and method that would, in theory, boresight an Abrams tank as accurately as the existing Muzzle Boresighting Device while saving crew time and allowing them to do it from the safety of the tank.
