Troopers of the 1st Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, traveled to Washington Park Beach during an international speed boat race known as the Great Lakes Grand Prix in support of the U.S. Army’s recruitment effort in Michigan City, Indiana, Aug. 5-7, 2022. They landed an Apache helicopter near the beach, participated in a parade through the city and interacted with fans alongside Soldiers of U.S. Army Chicago Recruiting Battalion.
