The "BattleKings Battalion," 1st Battalion, 9th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, hosted Georgia Tech Research Institute college and high school students for a research visit at Fort Stewart, Georgia, July 19, 2022. The goal of the visit was to educate students and build partnerships through collaboration with GRTI and their affiliate programs, who are researching ways to improve the way artillery Soldiers track ammunition as part of the Army's modernization efforts.
