U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, hold a redesignation ceremony at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, June 23, 2022. 1/3 redesignated to the 3rd Littoral Combat Team where it will be organized, trained, and equipped to support sea control and sea denial operations within actively contested maritime spaces as part of a modernized force, integrated with the Navy and other joint force elements.
