Video shows the slow and precise loading of the sixth Geosynchronous Earth Orbit Space Based Infrared System satellite (SBIRS GEO-6) into a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft by Loadmasters from the 60th Air Mobility Wing and Lockheed Martin Space, at Moffett Federal Airfield, Calif., May 31, 2022.
The satellite was taken to a processing facility to undergo testing and fueling prior to encapsulation. GEO-6 is expected to launch in July 2022 and is the last SBIRS program launch. (U.S. Space Force video by Walter Talens)
