This footage was taken in support of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point’s HURREX, hurricane preparation exercise at the Cherry Treehouse, MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, May 16-20, 2022. The Cherry Treehouse was opened at 9 a.m. to facilitate the exercise, which U.S. Marines across the installation volunteered to help set up cots and role-play as members of the community seeking shelter from the hurricane. HURREX is a week-long and held across the installation to increase MCAS Cherry Point’s readiness for Atlantic hurricane season.
