Marines with the G-4 Maintenance Branch, Marine Forces Reserve, conduct Material Readiness Training Center courses in order to maintain unit readiness. Independent duty requires specialized knowledge. MRTC courses are important for Inspector-Instructor duty and allow Marines to make the most of their time and efforts.
