U.S. Army Spc. Jacob Rice, a combat medic with the 670th Military Police Company, has the morning shift at the Santa Monica COVID-19 testing located at Clover Park.
The Clover Park testing site is a self-swabbing location and Rice is the only California National Guard medic who walks through the process with patients.
“We’ve done up to 400 tests a day.” Rice explains.
The site runs seven days a week from 7 AM to 7 PM.
