On September 07, 2021 the Joint Communications Support Element (Airborne) 2nd Squadron successfully executed and completed a Mission Readiness Exercise in order to validate their ability to provide command and control network capabilities. This included them using multiple scalable packages, to include the massive DJC2 Core, in a simulated Electronic Warfare contested environment. Over 100 Electronic Attack and Troubleshooting based injects were executed. This tested JCSE’s abilities to rapidly deploy and provide communications in a denied and degraded command and control environment. Subsequently, this exercise prepared our Communicators and the DoD to execute its no-fail mission against a near-peer advisory.(U.S. Army Video by SGT Jose Vargas)
