From 15-30 August 2021, Airmen from the 908th Airlift Wing participated in airlifting over 100,000 civilian refugees out of Afghanistan. Several members of the 908th Aeromedical Staging Squadron were on the ground at Hamid Karzai International Airport, treating and evacuating patients as the airport was overrun. This is their story.
