Aircrew members assigned to the 26th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron operate an HC-130J Combat King II to conduct cargo transportation and helicopter air-to-air refueling with HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters assigned to the 46th ERQS above an undisclosed location, Dec. 19, 2021. The Combat King II, part of the Guardian Angel triad, provides U.S. Central Command an expedient airlift and combat search and rescue capability to execute personnel recovery operations to austere airfields and denied territory for expeditionary, all weather personnel recovery operations to include airdrop, airland, HAAR, and forward area ground refueling missions.
