Master Sgt. Aldealn Shpep Abdallah, an Iraqi soldier from 2nd Battalion, 15th Brigade, 3rd Company, 12 Iraqi Army Division, is one of three Iraqi soldiers staying with U.S. Soldiers from 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division (6-1 CAV), as part of the Iraqi Adopt-A- Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Program. During the final day of the program, Iraqi NCOs watched 6-1 CAV Soldiers do physical training and then conducted patrols with the U.S. Soldiers to see how the NCOs interact with their Soldiers during missions Gueded, Iraq, March 24, 2010. The Adopt An NCO Program is a three-day event in which Iraqi NCOs embed with U.S. Soldiers from 6-1 CAV to learn first hand how U.S. NCOs interact with their units.
