Maj. Gen. JP McGee, commander of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and Command Sgt. Maj. Veronica Knapp provide an update on Operation LETHAL EAGLE a 21-day field training exercise on Fort Campbell, Ky.
During this exercise, the Soldiers of the 101st are preparing for their role in a future conflict by modernizing the force, fostering a culture of innovation, and demonstrating excellence. We must modernize to become the premier helicopter-based Joint Forcible Entry Division in the World. We will relentlessly pursue ways to innovate and improve our practices to leverage the technological advances occurring around them.
Operation LETHAL EAGLE produces lethal squads and platoons grounded in fundamentals.
