Marines and Sailors assigned to the amphibious transport dock USS Portland (LPD 27) support Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), during exercise Indigo Defender with Royal Saudi Naval Forces at Jazirat al Ghurab Island, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 19-21.
