Large-Scale Exercise (LSE) 2021 was a live, virtual and constructive, scenario-driven, globally integrated exercise conducted from Aug. 3-16, 2021 that provided high-end training at sea and ashore against a challenging adversary force. LSE 2021 demonstrated the flexibility inherent within Distributed Maritime Operations, Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations, and Littoral Operations in a Contested Environment signaling to our competitors the U.S. military remains ready at the high-end of warfare expressly because of its global operation commitments, rather than in spite of them.
