211010-N-YN807-2001 INDIAN OCEAN (Oct. 10, 2021) An MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4, conducts a vertical replenishment-at-sea with Royal Australian Navy fleet replenishment vessel HMAS Sirius (O 266), U.S. Navy Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) during a bilateral exercise with Royal Australian Navy HMAS Ballarat Strike Group, Oct. 10, 2021. Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is in a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
