Individuals from the 786th Force Support Squadron Sustainment Services Flight started an outreach program at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to gain insight into how Afghans prepare their meals Sept. 13, 2021. This initiative allows the Afghan evacuees to teach the 786 FSS Sustainment Services Flight how to cook more than 6,000 meals with traditional Afghan flavors. The sharing of food secrets fosters a better relationship and understanding of the Afghan culture as well as give the evacuees a small taste of home.
