Battle Group Poland's 3rd Battalion, 161st Infantry Regiment and the battle group's British Army contingent, Poacher Troop joined together for a spur ride at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland, Sept. 7-8, 2021. 49 U.S. Army and British Army Troopers earned their spurs. The spur ride is a time-honored U.S. Army tradition dating back to the beginning of American Cavalry. The ride tests teamwork, mental agility and physical fitness.
