U.S. Marines with Task Force Koa Moana 21, I Marine Expeditionary Force, work with Surangel & Sons Company, one of the largest and most comprehensive providers of goods and services in Palau, to facilitate the improvement of the road infrastructure in Peleliu, Republic of Palau, August 13, 2021. The project ran from August 1 -14 and provided the local population a more adequate road system to travel amongst and more so a safer route for the buses transporting the children to school. TFKM 21 provides the opportunities for partner-nations to work with Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, maritime law enforcement professionals, medical professionals, and humanitarian assistance organizations. These opportunities improve partner-nation capabilities and promote future self-supported operations.
