This month we are celebrating Private James W. Reese of the 26th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty which earned him the Medal of Honor. PVT Reese made the ultimate sacrifice August 5, 1943 at Mt. Vassillio, Sicily, during World War II.
