Dennis Wilson, an Aquatic Maximum Power Intensity (AMP-IT) Instructor on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, describes what AMP-IT is and what kind of training it consists of, June 30, 2021. AMP-IT was designed as the water version of High Intensity Tactical Training, but offered reduced stress on joints and bones as well as reduced risk of injury. Despite AMP-IT’s reduced physical stressors, it still offers a demanding workout and can be as challenging as land based physical training. AMP-IT is available three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 1130-1230 for active duty military at Hancock pool. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Pfc Noah Braswell)
