Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment, conduct a MIM-104 Patriot live fire, July 17, 2021. This marks the first time in history Soldiers have fired the MIM-104 patriot Missile in Australia, at Camp Growl in Queensland, Australia, during Exercise Talisman Sabre 2021. TS21 is a large-scale, bilateral military exercise between Australia and the U.S. involving more than 17,000 participants from seven nations.
