The Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing and the Wyoming Air National Guard's 153rd Airlift Wing completed Wildland Fire Fighting (WFF) training in Broomfield, Colo. using the Modular Airborne FireFighting System (MAFFS) loaded into C-130 aircraft. Crews discharged 3000 gallons of potable water per sortie on designated targets in national park land in the Colorado Rockies from May 10-15, 2021.
