Patrick Corona, a KC-10 pilot assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, California, the KC-10 Extender Director of Operations during Northern Edge 21 (NE21) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The KC-10 Extenders, along with participating KC-135 Stratotanker and KC-46 Pegaus tanker aircraft, serve as the Tanker Bridge for joint aircraft during the exercise. NE21 is one in a series of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command exercises designed to sharpen the joint forces’ skills; to practice tactics, techniques, and procedures; to improve command, control and communication relationships; and to develop cooperative plans and programs.
