U.S. Navy Seaman Hwihyeon Kim, a hospitalman assigned to Branch Health Clinic Dam Nek, Virginia, gives a shout-out to her friends and family back in New York City, as well as the ones in her home country of South Korea, at the Community Vaccination Center at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston April 20. Kim is one of the 3,000 U.S. service members from across the country deployed in support of the Department of Defense federal vaccine response operations. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
