U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Tawnya Gier, an Aerospace Medical Technician, assigned to the 20th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron, out of Shaw Air Force Base, in South Carolina, is currently serving at the Community Vaccination Center at the NRG Stadium in Houston, April 15, 2021. Gier, a Des Moines, Iowa native, is working at the post vaccination monitoring station where recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine have access to Emergency Medical Services if they should need them.
